Personifying is sort of experiencing the world as a psychological field, where individuals are given ability to imagine things into souls. It is a way of imagining, crafting images, which sees through an event to its image. Hillman calls seeing through as – the ability of the ‘imagination’s eye’ to see through the literal to the metaphorical.
Hillman calls the human adventure as “wandering through the vale of the world for the sake of making soul. Souls is imagination, a cavernous treasure, a confusion and richness. Everything becomes soul. It is the imaginative possibility in humans, the experiencing through reflective speculation, dream, image, and fantasy, that mode which is able to recognizes all realities as primarily symbolic and metaphorical.” The soul referred by Hillman is the human’s imagination’s capability to see through reality into the metaphorical, symbolic reality.
Conclusion
Humans generally live life from a up-close point of view, often ‘seemingly’ without a purpose, however, most live empty without finding one – and often seek refuge of the Holy and Divine Mother Ayahuasca, to give meaning and purpose to their lives. The Holy Medicine is able to show the participant in a Sacred Ceremony, the symbolic and metaphorical existence, hidden behind the veil of ‘reality’ – by the blessings of the Holy and Divine Mother Ayahuasca.
